Day 201 – What Have I Been Up to?

While the feedback and positive comments continue to flow in I will quickly let everyone know what I have been up to in the last 4 months that has kept me from the blog. Increasing the number of clients and the total number of audits has kept me busy in addition to employee scheduling all of which come along with the territory of running your own business. My territory is largely made up of bars and clubs that cater to the huge student population our city has. The problem is the students leave in the summer and the bar scene slows considerably. So it only made sense for me to follow the students......to the beach of course. I was able to bring on a new client that is located in the heart of one of our local beaches. Figuring out how to successfully complete the audit was one thing, but how do you keep your client satisfied and be able to provide them with methods and techniques to reduce their shrinkage is a big part of what we do. In this particular case it would be even tougher since the beach scene only lasts 2 months. In my upcoming blogs I will share with you some of the things we can do to reduce shrinkage for any of our clients and in particular how we can help over short periods of time.
